Delivery

Where and how Herend orders ship
QuestionAnswer
What does shipping cost?Nothing above $150. Up to $150, a single $19 charge.
Where can it go?The lower 48 states and the District of Columbia
Where can't it go?Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico and other US territories, military APO/FPO addresses, and countries outside the US
How soon does it leave?Usually within 3 to 5 business days, according to the store's shipping policy

A piece already on the shelf in Ridgewood leaves sooner than one ordered from the manufacturer, and special orders take the longest. When a date matters, such as a wedding or a birthday, ask the store by email or phone before ordering.

The store packs porcelain by hand. Herend pieces travel in Herend's own box whenever possible, inside a padded shipping carton.

A piece that arrives broken or wrong

Open the parcel soon after it comes. Should a piece be chipped, cracked, broken or not what you ordered, tell the store within 48 hours of delivery, send photos, and hold on to every bit of packaging. Paris Tableware then replaces the piece or refunds it, and covers the return postage.

Damage that happens later, in your own kitchen, is a different matter; our care guide shows how to identify the piece and buy it again.
