Herend Princess Victoria China

Written by Tamar Medzadourian, Paris Tableware, Ridgewood, New Jersey. Updated .

Herend Princess Victoria paints only the rim decoration of Queen Victoria, a colored edge with gold swags and small leaf sprigs, and leaves the rest of the porcelain white. It is the Victoria pattern that is easiest to use every day and the one with the most color choice: Paris Tableware had nine Princess Victoria colors available to order on October 24, 2026.

Every color has the five pieces of a place setting: dinner, salad and bread and butter plates, a tea cup and its saucer. All nine add a dessert plate, and all but Pink and Brown a service plate. Only Green, Blue and Light Blue have a teapot and coffee pot, so if tea service in the same color matters to you, start there. Light Blue is also the color Americans look up most: about 70 searches a month for "herend princess victoria light blue" against 30 for the green version, by Ahrefs estimates for October 2026.

Why people choose Princess Victoria

  • Space for the food. The white center shows a meal the way a plain plate would, with a painted frame around it.
  • Colors you cannot get in Queen Victoria. Light Blue, Dark Green, Gray, Black, Rust and Brown are Princess Victoria colors only; Queen Victoria comes in its original pale green, Blue and Pink.
  • A partner for Queen Victoria. Because the rim decoration is the same, the two patterns share a table without fighting.
  • Shared shapes. The dinner plate is shape 01524, like the other classic patterns, so Princess Victoria also lines up with Rothschild Bird, Chinese Bouquet and Golden Edge.
